2017/2018 Year of the Yin Fire Rooster

 January 28, 2017 to February 15, 2018 marks the Chinese new year of the Fire Rooster.  Roosters sure know how to strut their stuff and so should you. This is the year to leave fear behind and go after what you want in love, business and spiritual pursuits. Be prepared to get up at the crack of dawn, and get to work. There will be great rewards for you as long as you put in the effort.  One rooster can fertilize an entire chicken coop. You too can see growth in whatever you focus on with this strong work ethic attitude. This is the year to build a strong foundation for your goals, plant your seeds, and tend to them daily. And like the rooster’s flair for flamboyancy, you can do your work with the same enthusiasm. This colorful and cocky bird embodies eccentricity, uniqueness, fearlessness, curiosity, arrogance, sexuality, reliability, trustworthiness, sun energy and new beginnings. The Rooster is also very vocal, so you too can count on your voice, along with these other traits to bring you prosperity throughout the year. If you have been fearful of showing the world your talent, this is the year to step out and “Cock-a-doodle-doo!” in public. Be seen and be heard. The Rooster is our wake-up call this year. This is Yang masculine energy rising up to fire up projects, ideas, groups of people, love relationships, etc. Find out what heats you up and dare to show the world that intense light. Despite the Yin or female energy in Rooster, which calls for you to follow your intuition, fire energy prompts you to take action. The combination can be volatile if not kept under control. However, it could also lead to more female empowerment. The challenge this year will be in balancing both the Yin and the Yang energies to make things happen.
